The department of Behavioral Sciences in the Division of Online and Professional Studies invites applications for a Psychology full-time, tenure track, faculty position. The successful candidate should possess a terminal degree in the field (preferred), although candidates with a master’s degree who are working toward a terminal degree, or have significant experience in the field, may be considered. Strong candidates will demonstrate confirmation of teaching effectiveness, exceptional oral and written communication skills, and evidence of, or the potential for, scholarship. Additionally, candidates will need to be licensed, or license-eligible, in the state of California as an MFT.
This position involves teaching responsibilities in undergraduate and/or graduate areas of Psychology and Counseling Psychology. Clinical Training duties include serving as the liaison between the California Baptist University Master of Science in Counseling Psychology program within the Online and Professional Studies Division and external practicum sites, coordinating students’ training needs/requirements (established by the Board of Behavioral Sciences) with external practicum placements in order for students to meet the clinical requirements necessary to graduate from the program. Other duties will include: course and program development, implementation and assessment, and teaching in an online and hybrid setting; duties may also include directing clinical training.
