Grace College invites applications for the position of full-time Instructor Assistant of Communication/Assistant Director of Forensics, to begin fall 2017. We seek a qualified candidate with dedication to the communication filed and to the forensics arts. 50% of this position's time will be allotted for forensics coaching and forensics program development. The remaining time will be allotted for teaching five communication courses(e.g. public speaking, communication theory, interpersonal communication, persuasion, etc.) per year.
- Development and management of a competitive forensics team.
- Traveling with forensics team.
- Arranging team travel.
- Developing and effectively managing program budget.

- Ensuring that program is in the interests of and positively reflects Grace College.
- Recruiting students into the forensics program.
- Assessing the program and establishing long range plans.
- Working to integrate the forensics program with the community.

The Languages, Literature, and Communication Department is housed within the School of Arts and Sciences, and offers degrees related to Communication studies, English and English Education, creative writing, journalism, TESOL, French, and Spanish. Small but active and collegial, our department hosts many activities including public forums, writers' workshops, film screenings, poetry readings, a literary magazine, and an annual trip to the Stratford Shakespeare Festival.
