The Humanities & Natural Sciences Department at Toccoa Falls College is seeking applications for a full-time faculty position in the field of Chemistry and Physics starting August 1, 2017. Rank and salary will be commensurate with qualifications and experience.
Responsibilities: Primary teaching responsibilities include undergraduate general chemistry, organic chemistry and physics courses, as well as a core curriculum science course for non-majors. Academic advising and committee work related to EPA/OSHA compliance are also expectations of the position. Qualified candidates will evidence strong teaching skills, the ability to integrate faith and learning, and a sincere commitment to an evangelical Christian faith and the mission of the College.
Education/Experience: Minimum qualifications include an M.S. degree in either chemistry or physics, with sufficient graduate hours in the other discipline. A Ph.D. is preferred. Candidates with an M.Ed. or Ed.D. in physical science will also be considered. Prior college teaching experience is highly desirable.
