The College of Business and Sport Professions is currently accepting applications for a Chairperson of the Accounting Dept. at the Assistant/Associate Professor level beginning with the Fall Term of 2017. The NGU Accounting Degree Program is accredited by S.A.C.S. (Southern Association of Colleges and Schools). This is a nine-month, full-time position. Starting salary is commensurate with qualifications and experience and includes a comprehensive benefits package.
Teaching: Teach undergraduate courses in accounting, such as Accounting with Excel/Quick books, Intermediate Accounting, Cost Accounting, Advanced Accounting, Federal Taxation, Municipal & Government Accounting, Fraud & Corporate Responsibility, Federal Income Taxation, Seminar in Accounting and Supervision of the Accounting Internship Program.
Scholarship: Scholarly publications, professional presentations, and grant procurement are desired professional activities.
Service: Provide service to the Department, College, and University committees; professional organizations and the Greenville County community.
Administration: Assist with on-going program development; participate in student recruitment and retention; provide academic advising; provide co-leadership for student professional organizations and assist with alumni development.
