The Department of Science and Mathematics invites applications for a full-time, tenure-track faculty position in biology. The department emphasizes a collaborative and cross-disciplinary approach to undergraduate teaching and research. The position will begin August 15, 2018.
Responsibilities and Qualifications: The successful candidate will demonstrate teaching excellence, passion for undergraduate research, and a strong commitment to the mission of the university. A Ph.D. in biology or a closely-related field is required. Preference will be given to candidates with expertise and teaching experience in organismal, ecology, or environmental biology. Additional responsibilities will include student advising, serving on departmental and university committees, and teaching other biology and general education courses appropriate to the candidate's qualifications.
