Northeastern Seminary is a graduate theological seminary located on the campus of Roberts Wesleyan College in Rochester, New York. It is independent and multi-denominational in its approach to theological education. Degrees offered are the Master of Divinity, Master of Arts and Doctor of Ministry. Students and graduates represent more than 30 Christian faith traditions.
The Seminary is currently seeking candidates for full-time Director of Seminary Enrollment. Reporting to the Executive Director of Seminary Administration, this position provides vision and strategic leadership, as well as operational oversight, to ensure the seminary meets and sustains optimal enrollment levels in all programs and continues to diversify the seminary student body.
The Director oversees the development and execution of all enrollment initiatives, establishes priorities, builds teams, and evaluates and implements strategies to achieve enrollment and net tuition goals. Additional responsibilities include providing guidance for overall budget management of the enrollment team; and facilitating an atmosphere of service and focus on the seminary student experience.
Qualifications: Demonstrated leadership, management, problem solving, and decision-making abilities, as well as excellent communication skills including interpersonal, written, and oral presentation. Ability to work independently and reflect the goals and standards of Northeastern Seminary is essential. Experience recruiting for theological schools and familiarity with ATS accreditation standards preferred. Master's degree preferred and a minimum of 3-5 years of progressive management experience and leadership in business, pastoral ministry, or higher education required, with at least 2 years of experience in enrollment management (admissions, marketing, financial aid) preferred. Proficient in navigating and engaging the digital environment including cloud-based platforms preferred.
