Full-time, one-year assistant professor position available September 2018. Appointment is in the Department of Engineering and Computer Science.
Regular nine-month teaching load of about 33 quarter credits, typically including a variety of courses throughout the undergraduate curriculum of Computer Science, as well as related courses in Computer and Software Engineering.
Participate actively in the life of the department, the College of Arts and Sciences, and the University.
Engage in an appropriate program of research/scholarship.
About the Department of Engineering and Computer Science: The Department of Engineering and Computer Science offers undergraduate majors in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, General Engineering, and Information Systems. The department is part of the College of Arts and Sciences (Division of STEM and Social Sciences). These engineering majors are ABET accredited. The department's mission is to equip students with theoretical knowledge and applied skills to create and utilize appropriate engineering and computing solutions. All programs incorporate a significant hands-on component and include both an internship and a senior team capstone project. The department is committed to building an excellent and diverse faculty who desire to be part of a supportive Christian community in which students are prepared to become responsible and effective servant-leaders.

Ph.D. in Computer Science or a closely related field (i.e., Computer Engineering or Software Engineering). ABD candidates will be considered.
To complement current faculty interests, candidates with significant background in cybersecurity, data science or computer graphics will be given high priority.
