East Texas Baptist University invites applications for a full-time career-track position in mathematics. The position begins in August 2018, and will include teaching four courses per semester, participation in departmental reviews, contribution to curriculum development, and student advising duties.
A Ph.D. in mathematics, applied mathematics, statistics, or mathematics education is preferred although candidates with a master’s degree will be considered. College-level teaching experience, both online and on campus, is preferred. Candidates should have a strong commitment to undergraduate teaching, the ability to communicate well with students and colleagues, an appreciation for Christian higher education, and demonstrate a personal Christian faith. ETBU faculty members are expected to participate in the life of the University via faculty meetings/workshops and by participating in/attending student activities and events.
