The History Department of North Greenville University invites applications for the position of Assistant Professor of Non-Western History. Although preference will be given to candidates who possess a Ph.D. in the modern history of one of the following areas - Latin America, the Middle East, East Asia, Africa, or World History - ABD applicants will also be considered. The ideal candidate will also be interested in being trained to become department chairperson. Evidence of strong teaching skills, expertise in using technology in instruction, and ability to teach online classes are pluses. Duties include teaching introductory and upper-level courses, student advising, service on faculty committees, integrating your faith with your teaching, as well as evidence of a research agenda.
