The university welcomes strong applicants interested in contributing toward a dynamic and growing Kinesiology program. All three positions begin Fall 2018.
The Department of Kinesiology is comprised of 11 full-time undergraduate and graduate faculty members with a strong commitment to high quality teaching, service, and applied scholarship. There are approximately 300 undergraduate majors working toward one of three bachelor’s degrees—Applied Health Science, Athletic Training, or Exercise and Sport Science—who are drawn to the department for its commitment to educating students for the healthcare, fitness and teaching/coaching professions. The kinesiology department also offers a Master of Science in Kinesiology program which is currently in its third year with a strong enrollment. Four areas of concentrations are offered in the program: Exercise Science, Integrative Wellness (online), Sport Performance and Sport Management.
