Faculty Careers - English Literature and Composition
The Department of Literature, Journalism and Modern Languages at Point Loma Nazarene University, San Diego, welcomes applications for two tenure-track positions in writing, with specializations in fiction and nonfiction, beginning August 2018. Both positions are open due to retirements.
Qualifications: PhD in Writing and strong record of publication and scholarly achievement preferred; will consider applicants with an MFA and significant publications/awards. The 4/4 teaching load includes courses in writing, composition, and literature; preference given to those with experience in teaching English grammar and usage, professional writing, and/or advanced composition. Additional specializations in translation, digital media, and/or multicultural studies welcome.
