Warner University Student Financial Services Mission Statement:
It is the mission of the Student Financial Services Department (SFS) to provide an array of accurate financial information, guidance and support to all students currently enrolled and to those who seek to be part of the Christian environment surrounding a higher education at Warner University.
The Financial Services Coordinator (FSC) will report to the SFS Director and Administration.
The FSC will be responsible for financial aid packaging, billing, and servicing all students’ and parents’ financial needs as it pertains to the university, while operating within federal, state and institutional guidelines.
The FSC will strive to provide accurate, timely and quality information, and service to all Warner University students and personnel in a kind and friendly manner.
The FSC will carry out the day-to-day functions, duties and activities as outlined in the job Responsibilities.
To the Student
Evaluate federal, state and institutional financial aid eligibility and awards.
Assist students and families with understanding and completing financial aid process, including the FAFSA, loan paperwork, Entrance and Exit Counseling, verification process, etc.
Maintain accurate files and records of Financial Aid/Billing (paper file and electronic file)
Advise students concerning payments, payment plans, etc.
Work closely with the Admissions office, the Registrar’s Office and other departments to ensure smooth processing of student recruitment and retention.
Work directly with coaches, music and marching band departments, and Admissions regarding student scholarships
Recognize when a recalculation of funds is needed, make adjustments, and contact the student in a timely manner.
Bill tuition, room, board and all other charges as well as making corrections and issuing credits to the account
Evaluate Satisfactory Academic Progress in relation to financial aid eligibility
To the Team
Carry out all responsibilities to the student to maintain efficient office management and work flow.
Take on responsibilities and instructed by the SFS Director and Administration
Be willing to work as needed in any capacity that may not necessarily fall under specific job description, but may aid in the assistance of a co-worker or SFS Office.

Job Skills and Competencies:
3-5 Years of Financial Aid experience preferred
Knowledge of Federal, Florida State and Direct Loan Programs
Experience with R2T4
Customer service skills
Reasoning and problem solving skills
Ability to analyze information
Ability to multitask
Ability to interpret oral and written instructions
Ability to present information in a small group or one-on-one
