The Council for Christian Colleges & Universities invites students enrolled in a Masters of Higher Education program to spend the month of January in Washington, DC in order to gain professional experience and to contribute to the global mission of the CCCU. The Council is a professional association of 182 campuses in 20 nations whose mission is to advance the cause of Christ-centered higher education and to help our member institutions transform lives by faithfully relating scholarship and service to biblical truth. The Council coordinates professional development opportunities for administrators and faculty, manages U.S. based and international off-campus student programs, provides public advocacy for Christ-centered higher education and manages cooperative efforts among its member campuses (www.cccu.org). This internship would go from January 2-26, 2018.
The internship will provide opportunities to support the President’s Office and the conferences & events team in executing the 2018 International Forum on Christian Higher Education in Dallas, TX. The intern will be exposed to both a broad overview of the functions of the association, as well as have the opportunity to work on a specific project in support of the International Forum.

Persons applying for the position should:
Have a strong appreciation for the Christian mission and purpose of the CCCU and its BestSemester programs
Have exceptional verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills
Be flexible and willing to work on a variety of different types of projects
Have an interest in Christian higher education and the work of CCCU member institutions
Be enrolled in a higher education-related graduate program (preferred)
