CLASSIFICATION: FULL-TIME – STAFF – SALARIED REPORTS TO: VICE PRESIDENT OF UNRESTRICTED EDUCATION
The Director of Online & Certificate Enrollment reports to the Vice President for Unrestricted Education and works closely with the Executive Director, School of Unrestricted Education. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, leadership and direction of enrollment management functions and support of digital marketing strategies for online and certificate programs.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES (OTHER DUTIES MAY BE ASSIGNED)
Strategy & Processes – In collaboration with the Vice President and Executive Director:
Develop and implement a long-range, enrollment and digital marketing strategy for the online and certificate programs. Included in these strategies are templates and digital pathways providing clear and easy steps onboarding certificate seeking students across a variety of disciplines.
Establish marketing lead and enrollment goals by program and delivery.
Develop and maintains standard operating procedures to ensure the successful implementation of the enrollment management and digital marketing strategies and goals.
Digital Marketing Collaboration – In collaboration with the Vice President and Executive Director:
Support the enrollment marketing department in the development of digital marketing and advertising channels for the online and certificate deliveries.
Work closely with staff and faculty of the School of Unrestricted Education and Enrollment Marketing to design promotional material for online and certificate programs.
Research, design, and implement a digital marketing pathway for certificate programs, including a landing page and customer interface from inquiry through enrolled.
Enrollment Systems Management – In collaboration with the Vice President and Executive Director:
Develop, maintain, and assess enrollment management systems that support the online and certificate deliveries.
Work with enrollment marketing and IT to manage and improve technologies related to enrollment for these programs. Ensure proper training for said technologies.
Enrollment Operational Management – In collaboration with the Vice President and Executive Director:
Manage the recruitment and admission funnel for certificate students.
Coordinate the collection and reporting of enrollment funnel data for related programs.
Ensure the final determination and communication of admission decisions for online and certificate students.
Enrollment Vendor Management – In collaboration with the Vice President and Executive Director:
Serve as the primary liaison with The Learning House (TLH) on online enrollment management matters.
Work to continue to develop a collaborative culture for the development of systems between TLH and SEU and address current challenges in the enrollment management funnel.
Personnel Management –
Provides direct supervision, including hiring, training, and long-term management, for all Southeastern University enrollment management personnel dedicated to online and certificate programs.
Event Representation – Represents, or ensures representation of, the university at national and regional conferences and events for the purpose of recruiting for online and certificate programs. Some travel is to be expected.
ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED:
Education – Earned bachelor’s degree from a regionally accredited university.
Enrollment Management Experience – Three to five years of enrollment management and/or digital marketing experience
Digital Marketing – Experience with leading and managing digital marketing campaigns through a variety of channels, including social media; paid search; pay-per-click advertising; and email, content, and affiliate marketing
Technical Competence – A working knowledge of technologies related to enrollment management and digital marketing, including CRMs (e.g., Salesforce, Sugar, etc.), advertising analytics (e.g., Google Analytics), email advertising tools (e.g., Mailchimp), database querying (e.g., SQL or MySQL) and various design tools (e.g., Photoshop, Illustrator, and Dreamweaver)
Leadership – Ability to demonstrate strong leadership, interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills with attention to enrollment management and digital marketing systems
Project Management – Project management skills to implement complex enrollment and digital marketing systems
Collaboration – Ability to work with faculty and staff on the integration of enrollment and digital marketing systems
Communication – Excellent interpersonal and presentation skills, especially written and oral communications
Critical Thinking – Strong analytical skills as related to problem-solving and learning new technologies.
