Seattle Pacific University’s School of Psychology, Family, and Community is accepting applications for a full-time, one-year position, at the rank of assistant professor, beginning September 1, 2018. Subject to approval of funding, this position will become a tenure-track position in September 1, 2019. Teaching and advising responsibilities will be in the undergraduate Department of Psychology in the School of Psychology, Family, and Community.
Faculty duties include teaching, mentoring and advising students, service to the university, and establishing an active program of research. Teaching responsibilities may include Behavioral Neuroscience, Brain and Behavior Exploration, Health Psychology, and courses in the applicant's area of expertise.

The ideal candidate for this position possesses a PhD in behavioral or cognitive neuroscience, physiological or biological psychology, clinical neuropsychology, health psychology, or related area, teaching experience at the undergraduate level, and a clearly articulated plan of research with some record of scholarly productivity. The successful candidate will be able to address congruence within the context of a university committed to Christian faith and learning.
