REDEEMER UNIVERSITY COLLEGE invites applications for a tenure-track position (open rank) in the Department of Education beginning July 1, 2018.
The applicant should have an undergraduate degree in Math or Science, and hold a B.Ed. Degree, and a Ph.D, in the field of Education. Significant K-12 teaching experience and the ability to teach courses in Math Education, Science Education and at least one other course from our B. Ed. Program are required. Applicants should have knowledge of the current Ontario Ministry of Education K-12 curricula and educational policies, experience in supervising students on practicum, and the ability to work as a team member. Interest in educational research and the potential to develop a fruitful research project in education are also required.
As a liberal arts and sciences undergraduate university rooted in the Reformed tradition of Christianity, we seek candidates committed to teaching and pursuing scholarship within this framework.
