REPORTS TO: EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR, SCHOOL OF UNRESTRICTED EDUCATION
The Director for Online & Certificate Enrollment reports to the Executive Director, School of Unrestricted Education, and works closely with the Vice President for Unrestricted Education. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, leadership and direction of enrollment management functions for online and certificate programs.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Strategy & Processes – In collaboration with the Vice President and Executive Director, develops and implements a long-range, enrollment strategy for the online and certificate programs. Establishes enrollment goals by program and modality. Develops and maintains standard operating procedures to ensure the successful implementation of the enrollment management strategy and goals.
Personnel Management – Provides direct supervision, including hiring, training, and long-term management, for all Southeastern University enrollment management personnel dedicated to online and certificate programs.
Vendor Management – Serves as the primary liaison with The Learning House (TLH) on online enrollment management matters. Develops a proactive culture for ensuring the development of systems between TLH and SEU and to address current challenges in the enrollment management funnel.
Systems Management – Develops, maintains, and assesses enrollment management systems that supports online and certificate programs. Works with enrollment marketing and IT to manage and improve technologies related to enrollment for these programs. Ensures the proper training for said technologies.
Operational Management – Manages the recruitment and admission process for online and certificate students. Coordinate the collection and reporting of enrollment funnel data for related programs. Ensure the final determination and communication of admission decisions for online and certificate students.
Marketing Collaboration – Supports the enrollment marketing department in the development of marketing and advertising channels to support online and certificate programs. Works with staff and faculty of the School of Unrestricted Education and Enrollment Marketing to design promotional material for online and certificate programs.
Event Representation – Represents, or ensures representation of, the university at major conferences and events for the purpose of recruiting for online and certificate programs. Some travel is expected.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED:
Education – Must possess an earned bachelor’s degree from a regionally accredited university.
Enrollment Management Experience – Three to five years of enrollment management experience, with preference given to supervision of nontraditional (e.g., online, evening, or adult) enrollment functions.
Leadership – Ability to demonstrate strong leadership, interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills with attention to enrollment management systems
Project Management – Project management skills to implement complex enrollment systems
Collaboration – Ability to work with faculty and staff with diverse backgrounds and perspectives on the integration of nontraditional enrollment systems
Communication – Excellent interpersonal and presentation skills, especially written and oral communications
Interpersonal Skills – Demonstrated ability to work effectively with university faculty and staff
Critical Thinking – Strong analytical skills as related to problem-solving and learning new technologies
