Purpose: To serve the Executive Vice President, President and the University in facilitating, managing and overseeing the coordination of efforts in the areas of Admissions, Recruitment, and Financial Aid.
Serve as a member of the Executive Vice President’s leadership team, providing the other members with admissions progress reports and
Lead and supervise the Admissions and Financial Aid teams, which forms the core recruitment team and a key component of the University’s retention
Responsibilities include supervision, training, and evaluation of the Admissions and Financial Aid
Assist in interpreting institutional research data for the purposes of budget preparation, decision making and
Recommend for appointment, supervise and evaluate assigned
Develop appropriate reporting systems and information flow for assigned
Work with enrollment personnel to continually emphasize the importance of customer service.
Serve on institutional, denominational, state and national committees as required by the position or as recommended by the Executive VP and/or
Build and manage budget of assigned
Weekly review with enrollment staff to ensure that actions are aligned with objectives, adjustments are made as needed, and that each area has the support needed to accomplish
In the area of Admissions, initiate enrollment growth and service strategies to include the continual focus on our Nazarene base, the development of new markets, the strategic execution needed to effectively penetrate these markets, and the continual improvement and review of all recruitment events and campus visit
Work with university leadership to develop a distinctive and effective “product, price, and promotion”
Serve as University liaison and representative at Regional events and NYI
In the area of Financial Assistance, work with the Director and staff to ensure the continual improvement in the effectiveness of the financial aid programs for the benefit of attracting and retaining students, as well as work to maximize the coordination between the Office of Admissions and Financial Assistance to provide students with accurate, timely, and appropriate financial aid
Fully devoted follower of Jesus Christ and active member of a local church;

Master’s Degree and at least 3 years of experience in higher education leadership required.
The Enrollment Management Office is a dynamic office with projects, programs, prospects and strategy ever changing. This position requires a high degree of commitment to the values and mission of Southern Nazarene University. This position will need to stay current with all university programs, offerings and statistics in order to best present information to Senior Administration and facilitate effective communication and information sharing between offices.
