Asbury University is seeking a strong candidate for the position of Director of Human Resources and Risk Management. The Director of Human Resources and Risk Management provides administrative oversight of the HR function for university employees and student workers. The director will provide leadership to the employee benefits program, compensation management, employee training, performance management and assessment, recruitment, HR policy, workplace safety, employee relations, and other functions.

Bachelor’s degree required, Master’s degree highly preferred. A minimum of 12-15 years in the HR field and supervisory experience a must. The candidate should be a highly motivated, self-directed, and creative individual. They should possess excellent written and verbal communication skills along with strong computer skills (MS office and database experience). Experience in Microsoft Dynamics Great Plains and SPHR/PHR certification a plus. A committed and dynamic Christian faith is vital along with the ability to support the University’s theological position, lifestyle standards and mission.
